Beltana was successful in securing funding from the Department of Communities, Sport and Recreation.
The club received $2000 to assist with the purchase of items essential for COVID restrictions such as hand sanitiser, social distancing stickers and more. The club is extremely grateful for this financial help. It is very pleasing to see people doing the right thing and using the sanitiser stations and adhering to distancing when purchasing items at the bar.
Players from other clubs coming to visit us will see stickers on the floor at the bar to help you maintain social distancing, a sign in sheet as you enter the club which helps with contact tracing, sanitiser at entries and on tables and also at the rinks. That’s a lot of sanitiser so the grant was a fantastic help to the club.
